Upazila volunteer committees
We are forming a 5 to 9 member volunteer committee in every upazila of Cox's Bazar, so that local women can plan and lead activities in their own communities.
Who can apply
- Women aged 18 or over
- Passed at least Class 8
- Bangladeshi citizen with a national ID or birth registration
- Willing to run activities in your own area, including blood donation awareness
- Able to travel to Cox's Bazar for major programmes when needed
What you receive
- A WAYDO email address and identity card
- Funds to carry out activities
- Travel allowance for programme work
- T-shirt, cap and official vest
- Advanced training through our networks and alliances, and help finding work
- Priority for jobs in donor-funded projects

Where do you work?
In Cox's Bazar District: mainly Teknaf, Ukhiya, Ramu, Moheshkhali and Cox's Bazar Sadar, with Chakaria, Pekua and Kutubdia as priority areas for expansion.
How can I volunteer or become a member?
Women aged 18 or over who live in Cox's Bazar can join an Amar Elakay Amar Kaj upazila committee. Anyone who shares our values can also support us as a partner, mentor, adviser or donor. See Get Involved, or email [email protected].
